Rugby World Cup 2015

The Rugby World Cup starts on Friday and we’re pretty excited! There are venues up and down the country including nearby Elland Road & St James’ Park, allowing Rugby fans to see the best players from the top teams in the world compete on the grandest of stages. Are you lucky enough to have tickets to any of the games?

The competition kicks off on Friday with England hosting Fiji at Twickenham. If you’ll be watching at home, make sure you get friends and family round to make a real night of it! If you’re heading to someone’s house, be sure to not turn up empty handed. We’re talking about rugby snacks!

There’s nothing quite as perfect as a stack of sausage rolls, scotch eggs, roast ham sandwiches, pork pies and maybe even some half time bacon butties to keep hunger at bay through the highs and lows of the Rugby World Cup! We suggest asking someone who’s not that interested in the Rugby to organise the half time butties, that way those precious few half time minutes aren’t wasted!

Don’t forget to have some sausages, bacon and black pudding in the house too; if England wins, we have no doubt that there will be hangovers to cure the morning after! Send us some photos of your Rugby World Cup buffets via our Facebook page. Come on England!
