Cycle 4 Jenny

We recently supported Cycle 4 Jenny; a five man, four day bike ride covering the entire length of the country, in aid of The Jenny Unwin Appeal. We helped to fuel their spirits with pork pie goodness!

Before the ride Appleton’s owner Isabel Sterne was quoted as saying “We are very pleased to support this worthwhile local cause and wish all the guys lots of luck on their journey.”

After a very lucky three days the last 30 miles of the ride proved eventful with rain, two punctures and a broken front derailleur, but we’re pleased to report than the 5 riders completed the journey and raised a lot of money for the appeal. They certainly brought home the bacon!
